Prayer
Lord, we ask that You would bring civility and respect back into our political discourse. Let the words spoken by candidates, leaders, and citizens be marked by kindness and gentleness. Help us to engage in discussions with a spirit of understanding, even when we disagree. May we seek solutions rather than winning arguments, and build up rather than tear down. Let the conversations in our homes, workplaces, and communities reflect Your love and grace. Teach us to respond with wisdom and to see each person as one made in Your image. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
