Philippians 2:3 — “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.”

Lord, we pray that those who lead and those who seek office would walk in humility. Help them to resist pride, arrogance, and selfish ambition. Let them value others above themselves and seek to serve rather than to be served. We ask that they would be more concerned with the well-being of the people than with their own power or position. Teach them to listen, to admit when they are wrong, and to lead with humility and integrity. May their actions reflect the character of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
